How to add your first team

Start by navigating to Teams in the sidebar menu.

Now you are in your teams section you will see the blue add your first team card. Click the setup.

You'll be automatically re-directed to the create a team walkthrough. Here is where we have all of the details of our team, from our teams logo to description and everything in between, let's go through and fill out each page.

The first page you'll see is Location.

Start by entering your training locations zip code.

Then press the blue search button, you'll notice the City is automatically filled out for you. All you need to do is fill in the address lines. Once that's done you can hit the next button to move on.

Next up is Team Information.

It's important to get these right as these details are what parents are going using when they filter their search results.

You can always come back and change any details anytime.

Type in your teams name, and then use the dropdown options for the remaining fields. When you're done you can hit the next button to move on.

Next up is Team Logo.

Be sure to use a logo graphic that is good quality (at least 300 px x 300 px) and that also has a transparent background, it will be in the form of a png.

You can click the blue browse files button and add your teams logo and move onto the next section.

Next up, team photos.

This section is broken down into 2 parts. Cover photo and Gallery photos.

Your cover photo is the photo that displays in the search results, all other photos will be viewable in your team profile, like this.

The image you choose as your cover photo is the photo that will be displayed here, kind of like a profile photo.

Now for the gallery photos.

These will be displayed at the top of your listing page that parents get to see so it's important that you use high quality images that showcase a good variety of your team. You'll need to import these one by one and click the blue browse files button.

Images that show your players in a game setting, at practice, images are a very important part of the listing page as they really show a visual sense of what your team is about.

Now we can add in our Team Overview details.

Team description, here is a good chance to add some additional, unique points that are representative of your team. Parents want as much information as possible when they look at listing and your team description is one of the first things they read, so this is your change to wow them.

Team Details, this is different that your teams description, this is your chance to express the intricate details of your team.

Some examples of what to enter here are; how many times a week do you train, any details about your training location, is it at a high school for example. Where are you home games played, is it a different location that your training ground, how many tournaments do you usually attend.

As a coach you would have been asked these questions a million times so this is your chance to display them so you don't have to keep repeating yourself.

With Team Details entered we can move on to the final section of Team Achievements. Here is your chance to brag about your teams accomplishments.

Did your team win or place top three in your league?

Did your team win or place top three in State Cup?

Type your achievement in the text box, and click the blue + button to add that achievement in. If you need to remove an achievement, simply click the red trash can button to the left of the achievement to remove it.

Great work! You're now done filling out the information for your team!

Once you've clicked 'Finish' you'll see this popup. This is where you submit a recruitment listing, you have a few options to enter here.

The first is how many players are you recruiting for this team, drag the slider to the number you are looking to recruit. The second is whether you are offering a scholarship for this team or not. If you are you can go ahead and check that box and your team will show up in the search results to parents who are looking for a scholarship for their child.

When you're done with these options you can go ahead and hit Submit and your listing will now be live and searchable to parents.

Once you hit submit and the recruitment listing popup closes, your team card will now be saved with your cover photo being displayed, team name, logo, and team address.

You can now add another team that you coach following the same steps as this one and hitting the Set Up button on the blue card. Or you can hit the blue pencil button on the team card to edit your team.

Information entered in the above example is an example on a team and not 100% reflected as a real team.
